The recent cold weather has seen plenty of snow falling, and plenty of water freezing. The ice here, a frozen Mugdock Loch, seemed pretty strong and capable of taking weight.
That said, I took this photo from the edge of the ice, and not on it. It had been fairly warm that day, and I didn’t want to tempt fate…
